About Me!

Hi, I’m Chantal and I’m the owner and creator at Crazy Knitter’s Creations. 

How I Got Here

I started knitting about 20 years ago as a way to relax and unwind. From there, the passion and interest continued to grow and now, what was once a hobby, is a full on business - Crazy Knitter’s Creations. Located in Cornwall, Ontario, I’ve been creating custom knit pieces for clients all over the world. 

Everything in my store is hand knit by me! The many hours that go into each item are truly a labour of love. I find great pride in my unique and hand knit designs. Not only are my hand knit items extremely durable, but they are also easy to care for. 

Where does the ‘crazy’ come in? Well, after a car accident a few years back, I found myself with some extra time on my hands and the pile-up of knit items around my home became ‘crazy’. 

Supporting Community

Using my self taught skills, I started ‘Warm Up Cornwall’, an initiative to bring hand knitwear to those in need in the Cornwall area. By leaving hand knit toques, mittens and more around the city, we help to make sure no one is affected by the harsh winter climates we experience.

I then partnered with the Red Cross on their School Mitten Program to help ensure that no child goes without warm winter wear. Working with a small group, we knit hats, mittens and more for the youth in our local area.

I also volunteer my time and skills with The Optimist Club of Cornwall. Giving back to bring out the best in my local community and myself. 

My Mission

My goal for this store is to share my love of knitting and commitment to excellence with everyone. I’m all about colour, warmth and coziness - and I’m very excited to share that with you all. 

I hope that through my unique combination of tradition and innovation, you’re able to see the value and beauty of custom knit items. Knitting has brought so much joy to my life, and I hope my products are able to do the same for you.
